Spark gathers local Christians ages 14+ together in the Ballymena area to practically serve God and love others in a variety of ways, offering things such as free gardening, car washes, litter picks, youth drop ins, cafes, sports, music and late night events.
We gather together for worship and fellowship, then divide into our areas for the rest of the day. We have multiple areas around the town where we seek to show the love of Jesus though gardening, door to door, prayer, car washes, clean ups, youth drop ins, sports, music and late night events.
“The vision is for young people to live out the Kingdom of God.”
For our young people this looks like…
Young people living bold, passionate and powerful lives in Jesus Christ because they’ve accepted Him in their hearts- through the Word, worship and prayer. The vision is seeing young people being transformed in to the likeness of Jesus- in character and desires; seeing them trying and embracing their gifts and being sent into the world where they are prepared and equipped to live out the Kingdom.
For our town this looks like…
Ballymena being shaken up by the love of Jesus; seeing the lives of people in our town being changed by the gospel.
Based near the town center, all Spark volunteers meet here each day for worship and teaching before heading to their bases in their areas they are serving in.
